Our exhibit is in the FARM area at the back of Cal Expo, in the greenhouse next to the aquaculture area.
We've set up a "how to grow orchids under lights" light cart, with informational cards, plus a greenhouse exhibit featuring dozens of orchids in bloom.
We will have a limited number of volunteers available during fair hours to interact with fair patrons, answer questions and do some education talks and repotting demos. We do not have a booth that is staffed.
Unfortunately we were asked after the official schedule of talks was published, so we cannot guarantee when one of our volunteers will be on site or giving a particular talk.
There is a variety of educational signs and plaques, along with "Did you Know" signs with orchid trivia.
We also have two rotating digital signs that show hundreds of different orchids in bloom, plus tips, trivia and information about the Sacramento Orchid Society.

We hope to expand our display next year, and have scheduled talks and demos.
We are looking for a used (or new one that someone can donate) "greenhouse" style window (the ones that stick out from your house) so we can do a growing orchids in window exhibit both for the fair and for the April Show.
