Is your group looking for a fun and interesting speaker or presentation?
Members of the Sacramento Orchid Society are available to give FREE educational, fun and entertaining talks, lectures, and slide shows (Powerpoint) on Orchid Plants including their history, fascination as well as basic care and even re-potting demonstrations.
Repotting workshops (nominal repotting / supplies fee) also available as well as greenhouse and growers facilities tours.
Talks can be customized for your group - whether you just want an interesting and fun walk through the fascinating world of orchids or an in-depth educational event with care information and repotting classes. Orchid classes on using orchids in floral arrangements or making orchid corsages are also available.
Does your nursery or store sell orchids? We offer FREE Educational talks, classes and repotting demonstrations / repotting workshops for your clients and employees!
We can offer free customized talks, lectures, presentations and workshops for your customers on Orchid care and repotting. We can provide detailed care sheets customized with your logo or store information (or help you craft/edit your own). At each event, we will specifically promote the products that you sell. Talks ranging from 1 hour and up, along with general question and answer programs available.
Free special employee training and classes on orchid basics and care (let us teach your employees how to keep your orchids alive and reduce loss and increase your sales as well as educate them so they can educate your clients!).

Do you have a special event, fair or public event where you would like members from the Sacramento Orchid Society to have a booth or table? We can provide sample orchids for display, offer educational information and even provide plants for sale.

Please note that the Sacramento Orchid Society is a non-profit all-volunteer organization and bookings, lectures and talks will be scheduled on an "as-available" basis. Most programs are offered free of charge, however some programs, lectures, workshops and tours may have speaker's fees, supplies fees, travel and lodging reimbursements (for out of area) and or minimum purchase considerations.
