Welcome to the new orchid discussion board of the Sacramento Orchid Society.
This bulletin board (or forum) is for the use of both society members and guests to learn more about orchid care in the Sacramento / Northern California area.
You can read postings and view photos anytime without registering. If you would like to register (FREE), you can create threads (make comments/ write articles including asking questions, upload photos and more!) and respond to others' writings and comments.
You can for example, upload photos of your plants in bloom; post pictures of no-namei orchids (orchids that you don't know the scientific name for) and hopefully someone will help you identify it. You can also post pictures of orchids you're having problems growing and let fellow orchid members suggest ways to improve or save it.
You can ask simple or complex questions and hear from a variety of experienced growers - both laymen and experts alike.
You can even upload photos or lists of orchids you have for sale or trade. ...and so much more!
