Please join us for our monthly meeting in March. The kitchen class begins at 6:30PM and the meeting starts at 7:00PM. We’ll have lots of orchids, food & drink and a great speaker. This month, our speaker is Jurahame Leyva. Jurahame will be talking about New Directions in Maudiae Paphiopedilum Breeding. This should be a fascinating talk even if you’re not a huge Paphiopedilum orchid fan. Learning more about these orchids might just be the thing that gets you interested in them. And Jurahame will be providing the orchids for our monthly raffle table so perhaps you’ll be able to take one of these wonderful orchids home with you.

In addition to Jurahame’s talk, we’ll also have our monthly Show & Tell tables, which is like a free mini orchid show. We go through each of the orchids our members bring in and say a few words about them. This is a great way to learn more about the wonderful world of orchids and see the kinds of plants our members grow. We’ll have food & drinks after Jurahame’s talk and we’ll have our monthly raffle after Show & Tell where almost everyone goes home with a new orchid (assuming you buy tickets of course).
