Please join us for our monthly meeting in May. The kitchen class begins at 6:30PM and the meeting starts at 7:00PM. We’ll have lots of orchids, food & drink and a great set of speakers. This month, we have a trio of speakers from the California Sierra Nevada Judging Center: Alan Koch, Dave Sorokowski and Dennis Olivas. This is a culture day talk so they will be answering your questions on orchids and providing some great information about any of the orchids you purchased at the show. The judging center will be providing the orchids for the raffle table so there will be a great selection.

In addition to our trio of judges, we’ll also have our monthly Show & Tell tables, which is like a free mini orchid show. We go through each of the orchids our members bring in and say a few words about them. This is a great way to learn more about the wonderful world of orchids and see the kinds of plants our members grow. We’ll have food & drinks after our speakers are finished and we’ll have our monthly raffle after Show & Tell where almost everyone goes home with a new orchid (assuming you buy tickets of course).
