This month, the Sacramento Orchid Society is proud to present Leon Glicenstein talking about Native Orchids of California. This should be of interest to anyone interested in orchids or native plants of California. Leon has been growing orchids since 1954 so he knows a thing or two about them. This is a presentation that you're not going to want to miss.

We will also have our Show & Tell tables where members bring in their blooming orchids for everyone to enjoy. Come early (the doors open at 6:00PM) to check out the orchids and talk to the growers about them. They can give you tips on how to grow them and other orchids in our area. You can also check them out at the break in the meeting.

We have refreshments available at each meeting. After our speaker, we take a break and have a quick snack and/or drink. This also gives you a chance to take a look at the Show & Tell tables.
